The Orthodox Church has two distinctive features: its changelessness and its sense of living continuity with the church of the early apostles. The church's doctrine of salvation teaches that Christ came to save us from sin for participation the in the life of God here on earth and for life after death. The whole emphasis is that we "put on Christ"as a way of life.

Orthodoxy believes that Jesus is the human way God chose to get close to us Orthodoxy accepts the teaching of the Holy Trinity because it preserves God in His fullness. "God" means the Father who loves us, the Son Who saves us, and the Holy Spirit who lives within us.

Finally on November the 8th, 1980, Diane Ashworth was married to Steve Collins with Fr. Sarris officiating.
